Our Halloumi (the squeaky cheese) is hand made with ewes milk using a traditional Greek recipe. We set the cheese with minimal salt, resulting in a slightly sweet, creamy flavour. Best eaten baked, grilled or roasted for breakfast, lunch or tea. For some inspiration, simply slice into strips or cubes and then pan fry until golden and add this to a mixed green salad. Alternatively try a Hallomi and mushroom stack, Halloumi and zucchini skewers or our summertime favourite, Halloumi and watermelon salad.
The Halloumi is sold in blocks of 200 grams. Because we hand cut our cheese it’s difficult to get the weight spot on every time, so it may get a bit more, but never less. Anything extra is just a free gift from us to you.
