Brie Wish You a Merry Christmas

As 2020 draws to a close we want to thank all our customers, friends and subscribers for the support you have shown us throughout this crazy year. It’s your support that enables us to pursue our passion for working with animals and creating a range of cheeses, yoghurt and ferments with their amazing milk.

With the recent launch of our online store we are looking forward to 2021 and being able to share our cheese with friends across the state and hopefully, in time, across Australia.

Cheese ready for the Christmas Markets

Don’t forget the final Albany Farmer’s Market of the year will be on Wednesday the 23rd of December between 4pm and 7pm.  This will be the last chance to stock up on our cheese before we return on 2 January 2021.  We will have plenty of all of your favourite products, but if you want to beat the queue or can’t get to the market until late, secure your order by ordering online.  Your order will be packed and ready for collection when you arrive.

If you have a large gathering this year we still have two full wheels of Brie available.  Weighing in at 1.9kg each, these are beautiful baked and topped with cherries and nuts. If the Brie is a little big, but you have your heart set on a baked cheese delight, then our Camembert is a perfect alternative at 200g. We will be baking a couple of these this year wrapped in Prosciutto and Puff Pastry and served with an onion jam.  If it’s any good we will put the recipe up in the new year.

On behalf of all of us at Porongurup Pure – may your Christmas stocking be full, your travels be safe and your turkey be roasted to perfection.

And a special message from the girls…. ‘Brie wish ewe a Merry Christmas and an udderly wonderful time with your herd this New Year’.

Best wishes

Scott, Nic, our awesome Team, the woolly ones and the jolly ladies.
